FSG's SCM SharePoint Services
Microsoft SharePoint is a popular web application platform developed by Microsoft Corporation for small to large organizations. It is typically utilized for web collaboration, document and file management. SharePoint can also be used as a web application development platform. SharePoint provides various methods for customization and configuration of web areas, all of which have granular governance configurations. Beyond basic page-editing, file-storing and custom design ('branding') capabilities, one of the more prevalent forms of configuration is the ability to install third-party customizations called 'web parts' (i.e. widgets/gadgets). SCM SharePoint Services are custom web-parts that give SharePoint Administrators the ability to simply drop SCM capability into their SharePoint sites. FSG SCM SharePoint Services are web parts that provide tight integration between SCM and SharePoint 2010. The combination of SharePoint and SCM provide best in class management for structured and unstructured enterprise content.
