Benefits and Features


The FormFinder Local Save feature is currently supported for Adobe Acroform PDF, Adobe XFA PDF, and IBM WorkPlace forms. For Adobe PDFs, Acrobat or Reader Extensions are required.

The FormFinder Local Save feature allows users to download their documents and work with them even when they do not have network access to their FormFinder server. This can be very helpful in filling out order forms or travel expense reports on the road, or completing field surveys, etc.

 Once the user regains access to the network, all the new form data can be uploaded to the FormFinder server. This data then becomes no different from any other data, and can be managed, used, and shared in the same way.

Completing data collection tasks off-line and then uploading the data can result in significant time saving by eliminating data re-entry, and will also help to maintain the integrity of the data collected by eliminating re-keying errors.
