Digital Signatures
Benefits and Features
FormFinder Digital Signatures are currently supported in Adobe Acroform PDF and Adobe XFA PDF (LiveCycle) forms.
The FormFinder Digital Signature solution is managed and authenticated from the server to provide XML form signatures that do not require individual user certificates on the user's desktop.
FormFinder Digital Signatures support hierarchical form field locking as signatures are applied. Each signature can lock different fields as selected using the server-based Management Console utility.
FormFinder Digital Signatures provide data verification with non-repudiation and notification if data in locked fields has been altered.
A server-side X.509 certificate can also be applied for added data security. This would be used in addition to the security features already present in the FormFinder Digital Signature solution.
FormFinder Digital Signatures can be configured to require a user PIN when a signature is applied. Wet signature graphics can also be uploaded to the server so that each signer's actual signature can be displayed on the form.
